Leslie has exhibited
her work throughout the United States and in Canada and
Russia. Including solo exhibitions of both her floral
landscapes and her equine and animal compositions. She
has been juried into the American Academy of Equine Art's
Fall Showcase- Lexington, KY in 2000, 2001,2002 and 2003.
Other exhibits include Seippel Center for the Arts, Beaver
Dam, Wi., Wisconsin Arts Board exhibit- Madison, WI, The
PumpHouse Regional Center for the Arts-LaCrosse, WI, Heyde
Center for the Arts- Chippewa Falls,WI., Alexander House
Regional Arts Center in Port Edwards, WI.,Western States
Horse Expo- Sacramento, CA, The Draft Horse Classic-Gilroy,
CA, Nightwalker 98-Fort Collins, CO, Barrington Area Arts
Council Exhibit-Chicago, ILL, , Midwest Horse Fair, Equine
Art Guild Shows and the American Morgan Horse Art Competition
and Art Auction in 84 and 86. She has won numerous awards
for her colored pencil work and continues to strive for
excellence in her craft.
She is a founding member of the Wisconsin Equine Art Guild
and past editor of its newsletter. She has been a long
time member of the national art support group, No Limits
for Women in the Arts and currently is a member of the
International Equine Artists, Duck Creek Art Guild and
the Beaver Dam Area Arts Association and a past Associate
member of the American Academy of Equine Arts.
Leslie and her husband Jack have hosted the 2001 and 2002
American venues for the International Equine Art Guild
exhibition in their gallery space, Mustard Creek Metal
Works & Art Gallery in La Crosse, Wisconsin in 2001
and 2002. They have also hosted the "Spirit of the
Horse" national juried exhibit in 2000. Currently
Leslie is chairing the upcoming "The Horse in Art"
Exhibit at the Seippel Center of the Arts in Beaver Dam,
WI. The exhibit opens in April of 2011.
